Hospitalists take next steps to Implement Diagnostic Accuracy Improvements

Radha Devi, MD, Timothy Evans, MD, and Rob Young, MD, have been spearheading the ADEPT (Achieving Diagnostic Excellence Through Prevention and Teamwork) initiative at WashU in collaboration with Colorado’s Institute for Healthcare Quality, Safety, and Efficiency (IHQSE). Along with 14 other academic medical institutions across the United States, the WashU ADEPT team is leading the charge to reduce the burden of diagnostic error.
