Keystone Integrated Science Courses (KISCs) will play an integral role in Phase 3 of Washington University School of Medicine’s Gateway curriculum. All MD students will be required to complete three 4-week KISCs; MSTP students will be required to complete two 4-week KISCs. Each KISC will integrate the science and practice of a defined topic by incorporating both classroom-based and experiential or applied learning that occur sequentially or blended.
