The American Dream Deferred: One Japanese American Family’s Incarceration during WWII

In observance of AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) Heritage month, the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is hosting this session that features, WUSM community member Robin Hattori.  Robin will share personal details of her mother and father’s internment during World War II.  Her talk seeks to provoke discussion on concepts of racism, patriotism, civil rights vs. security, and righting past wrongs.
