The “14th Annual Gateway Hospital Medicine Conference: Care of the Hospitalized Patient” is planned and implemented interprofessionally by adult and pediatric physicians, nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), and pharmacists. This conference is designed for hospitalists and subspecialty physicians, advanced practice providers, and pharmacists. “Care of the Hospitalized Patient” had been an annual Continuing Medical Education conference that grew in popularity and attendance since it began in 2005. Paused during the COVID-19 pandemic, it is now expanded and renewed for healthcare clinicians throughout the Midwest, South, and beyond.
