Dr. Amrullah Alsatli joined the Department of Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine as an Instructor in July 2023. Dr. Alsatli has been blessed by living with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. He was born in Germany and grew up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He graduated from Jordan University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery. He served his first internal medicine residency at Hamad Medical Corporation, affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar. In 2015, he started his second internal medicine residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Serving two residencies in two different countries has exposed him to a wide array of disease pathologies. During his training, he won awards for his dedication to education and research.
After finishing his internal medicine residency in 2018, he joined the Department of Hospital Care at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he provided inpatient hospital care for almost five years. Throughout his training, he developed a passion for research. To better prepare himself as a researcher, he has enrolled in the Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Research at Georgetown University. Dr. Alsatli is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He strives to practice evidence-based medicine to heal patients and is committed to high-standard and comprehensive healthcare. His research interest includes Hospital and Pulmonary Medicine. In his free time, Dr. Alsatli likes to spend time with his wife and kids. He also enjoys traveling and exploring new restaurants.
