Amyloid Center of Excellence Selected for AHA ATTR-CM Discovery Initiative

As a part of the DepleTTR trial, Washington University in St. Louis is one of the major amyloid centers around the world testing the ability of an antibody (ALXN2200) to target amyloid in the heart and remove it from the body.

The WashU Medicine Amyloid Center of Excellence has been selected as one of just 10 centers nationwide to participate in the American Heart Association’s ATTR-CM Discovery Initiative, a three-year program aimed at transforming care for patients with transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM).
