Call for Applications: Short-Term Research Experience for Under-Represented Persons (STEP-UP R25)

STEP-UP Summer Interns Receive:

  • Biomedical research experience during a 10-week seminar program
  • Stipend available for all participants
  • All expense-paid travel to present at the Annual STEP-UP Symposium at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD
  • Year-round mentoring support and career development advice

Eligibility:

  • US citizen, non-citizen national, or legal resident
  • College student with a 3.0 or higher GPA in a STEM major
  • Individuals from an underrepresented racial/ethnic group, with a disability, or from a disadvantaged background
