The office of the Vice-Chair of Clinical Research is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the research endeavors in our department. 

This pages guides access to resources and support for those interested in advancing their clinical research careers. Driven by the vision of fostering a culture of excellence and innovation, we aim to provide our faculty with the tools and knowledge necessary to excel in these research pursuits.  The office is focused on providing support for clinical research career development, skill building, identification of funding sources and advice and assistance for those working to obtain funding.  Streamlined infrastructure support for clinical trials in the DOM includes standardized and optimized budget templates, HR-approved clinical research staff hiring and promotional structures, access to staff training resources and certification opportunities.

The DOM network of researchers, clinicians, and partners can help you advance your research, through access to networking and collaborations that can accelerate your program and promote impactful research outcomes. Our team organizes regular networking events to foster connections and collaborations among DOM members engaged in trials and human research.
  4. Mentorship and Career Development: As Vice-Chair of Clinical Research, Dr. Sweitzer, is committed to guiding and supporting DOM faculty and learners in their research careers. We offer personalized mentorship, one-on-one consultations, and career development resources to help faculty members reach their full potential as clinical researchers.
