New Graduate programs in Biomedical data science and AI

Siteman Cancer Center – based at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis

The Informatics, Data Science & Biostatistics (I2DB) is thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of two new programs: a Master of Science and a Graduate Certificate in Biomedical Data Science and AI.

Designed to meet the growing demand for experts at the intersection of data, technology, and healthcare, these programs offer interdisciplinary coursework, hands-on research, and flexible scheduling. Tailored for both recent graduates and working professionals, the MS and certificate programs will prepare students to lead in the evolving landscape of biomedical data science and AI.

Students can choose from three specialization tracks:

  • Biomedical Informatics
  • Biostatistics
  • Data Science

These programs are eligible for HR Tuition Benefits.

Applications open on September 1, 2025, for the first cohort beginning in Fall 2026.
