Inaugural Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Research Symposium

This symposium will bring together IBD Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis researchers from across the campus and provide an opportunity to share new research findings, facilitate scientific ex-change, identify potential new collaborations, and promote our associated research core facilities.

Abstract Submission

Abstracts should include title, author list with presenting author underlined, department/division affiliations. Participants will have the opportunity to present their work at the event. The main abstract text has a 350-word maximum. The Top two abstracts/posters will get $500 and $250 respectively. Organize content in sections as follows:

  • Background/Purpose: Background or statement of purpose
  • Methods: Methods, materials, and analytical procedure used
  • Results: Summary of the results in sufficient detail to support conclusion (never “results will be discussed”)
  • Conclusion: Conclusions reached
  • There is a limit of 2 image, table, and/or graphic uploads per submission
Abstract Submission: Due Friday, February 21, 2025 at 5pm CST
