The course provides education in advanced therapeutic endoscopy through lectures and a hands-on program with expert faculty from WashU and invited faculty around North America. This event will also include a fellows hand on session, aimed at third year GI fellows and advanced endoscopy fellows. There are a limited number of fellow travel awards available (maximum $700 per person) to help defray airfare expenses. Original receipts for travel must be submitted following the course for reimbursement. these travel awards will be awarded on a first-come basis.
Hands on experience will include one on one training with expert faculty covering:
- ESD, POEM
- ERCP
- Diagnostic and Therapeutic EUS
- Luminal Stenting
- Endoscopic Suturing and Closure
- Bariatric Endoscopy
- Endohepatology
