Dr. Suchitra Pilli joined the Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine as an Instructor in June, 2018.
She was previously affiliated with The University of Texas McGovern Medical School in Houston.
After training in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Pilli’s love for cancer biology shaped her interest in Interventional Pulmonology. Her research interests include pleural disease, advanced bronchoscopy and lung cancer screening with clinical interest in interventional pulmonology, procedures in the ICU, and ARDS. Her teaching interests are in the field of medical education, procedural competence in the ICU and pulmonary disease. Dr. Pilli envisions a career combining clinical practice and medical education.
