Dr. Mohammad Aldiabat joined the Department of Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine as an Instructor in June 2023. He was born and raised in Alramtha, Jordan and received his medical degree in 2018 from Jordan University of Science and Technology. During his time in medical school, Dr. Aldiabat served in the students’ academic and orientation committee, and was an active organizer of multiple campaigns and events targeting the health of underserved populations and refugees in Jordan. In addition, he is a candidate of master of public health degree in epidemiology at Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, MA. Dr. Aldiabat completed his internship at King Abdullah University Hospital in Jordan in 2019, his residency training in Internal Medicine at Lincoln Medical Center/Weil Cornell Medicine in 2022, and his fellowship training in Geriatrics Medicine at NYU Langone Health in 2023, both in New York prior to joining the Division of Hospital Medicine.
During his training, he worked on multiple quality improvement projects in the field of hospital medicine and geriatrics medicine, and was able to provide care to a variety of populations and age groups. He enjoys working with medical trainees and residents, and teaching medical students the fundamentals of internal medicine. His key interests include epidemiology of diseases, outcomes research and determinants of health in the field of inpatient medicine, gastroenterology, liver diseases and inflammatory bowel diseases. Outside the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their lovely newborn girl, playing billiards, cooking, and traveling.
