Dr. Kelly McDermott joined the Department of Medicine in the Division of General Medicine and Geriatrics as an Assistant Professor in September of 2023. She is from Virginia Beach, VA. Her key interests are preventative medicine, management of obesity and chronic disease, social and structural determinants of health. Her research interest and curricular development in the field of inclusion, diversity, equity, ally-ship and social justice.
