Dr. Kathleen Lowe joined the Department of Medicine in the Division of Bone and Mineral Diseases as an instructor in September 2022. She was born and raised in St. Louis. She received her medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, NE, and then completed an internal medicine residency and geriatrics fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She practiced in geriatric primary care prior to joining the Bone Health Program. She brings her expertise in primary care and geriatrics to care for patients with osteoporosis, osteopenia, and metabolic bone diseases in the Bone Health Clinic. Her key interests are osteoporosis, osteopenia, metabolic bone disorders, fragility fractures and fall prevention.
