Dr. Chinenye Udokwu joins the Department of Medicine

Chinenye Udokwu, MD, PhD

Dr. Chinenye Udokwu received her medical degree from University of Nigeria, Nigeria in 2011. She completed a one-year internship in the same institution. She later obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Boston University, Boston in 2016. She then subsequently completed her internal medicine residency at St. Lukes’ Hospital, Chesterfield, St Louis, Missouri in 2022.

She went ahead to complete a Geriatric fellowship in 2023 and a fellowship in bone and mineral diseases in 2024, both in WashU Medicine. In February 2025, she joined the faculty as an Instructor in Medicine within the Division of Bone and Mineral Diseases and the Bone Health Program. Her primary clinical interests include osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases, with a particular focus on optimizing bone health in the elderly.
