Dr. Armen Sanosyan joined the Department of Medicine in the Division of Allergy and Immunology as an Assistant Professor as of July 2025.
Dr. Armen Sanosyan is a physician with training in Allergy and Immunology. His clinical interests include local allergic rhinitis, allergic contact dermatitis, drug allergies, and immunodeficiencies. He aims to provide thoughtful and evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs.
His research focuses on identifying clinical and laboratory markers that may improve the diagnosis and understanding of allergic and immune diseases. During his fellowship at Washington University, he investigated the role of extracellular matrix glycoproteins in allergic airway remodeling. He has also contributed to studies on immune responses in Epstein-Barr virus infections, primary Sjögren’s syndrome, and pediatric asthma exacerbations.
Dr. Sanosyan has been involved in medical education, contributing to curriculum development and teaching students and trainees. He enjoys sharing knowledge and learning from others, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
