Montané selected as the Assistant Clerkship Director for the Internal Medicine Clerkship

In this role, Bryce Montané, MD will work alongside the IM Clerkship leadership team to enhance the educational experiences of Internal Medicine Clerkship students within the Department of Medicine. His primary responsibilities will include development of new curriculum and educational activities for students, recruitment and support of teaching faculty, and assisting with the clerkship’s assessment program, including oversight of the IM Clerkship Competency Committee.

Dr. Montané completed medical school at the University of South Florida in 2018 before joining the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Cleveland Clinic. After completing residency in 2021, he was selected as a Chief Resident at Cleveland Clinic, where he served as the Curriculum Chief. During his tenure at Cleveland Clinic, he received two Scholarship in Teaching awards for his role in helping to develop a Clinician-Educator track and for his contributions to a telemedicine curriculum during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, Dr. Montané joined Washington University as a clinical fellow in the TL1 Translational Sciences Postdoctoral Fellowship Program through the Division of General Medical Sciences. He joined the Division of General Medicine and Geriatrics as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in July 2024.

Dr. Montané brings a wealth of experience and a passion for clinical education to the role of Assistant Clerkship Director. We are excited to welcome him aboard!
