With GLP-1 weight-loss drugs becoming more common, doctors are working to better understand how they affect the body—and what patients can expect beyond weight loss. Dr. Samuel Klein with WashU Medicine is leading a clinical trial exploring those effects, from changes in metabolism and health markers to what happens as people lose significant weight.
