Eileen Lee, MD and Dennis Chang, MD, faculty in the Division of Hospital Medicine, present a session during the DOM Roads to Success faculty development course – February 22, 2025

Institutionally, our educators have been busy in recent months with several education-focused events. In early February, Eileen Lee, MD participated as the DOM representative for the Academy of Educators’ Teachfest Royale competition. Later that month physicians across 7 divisions participated in the DOM Roads to Success faculty development course, aimed at equipping faculty with foundational skills for teaching in medicine.

Our efforts to support faculty, trainees, and administrators within the division continue as well. We are excited to have formed a faculty-led Fellow Support Committee, who will work directly with each training program to enhance future departmental education and professional development opportunities for fellows. We continue our regular UME, GME Program director, and GME Program Administrator meetings for collaborative learning and sharing of best practices. In the coming months, we look to expand upon our efforts to develop a departmental dashboard for tracking training program metrics and educator achievements.
