Dr. Reuben Adatorwovor joins the Department of Medicine

Reuben Adatorwovor, PhD

Dr. Reuben Adatorwovor joins the Department of Medicine as a Assistant Professor as of July 2026.

Dr. Adatorwovor is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at WashU Medicine, with joint appointments in the Institute for Informatics, Data Science and Biostatistics and the Department of Emergency Medicine. His research focuses on developing and applying statistical and computational methods for complex biomedical data, with expertise in survival analysis, competing risks, longitudinal modeling, prediction, machine learning, and AI.

He collaborate closely with multidisciplinary translational teams on clinical trial design, real-world evidence studies, and implementation science. My applied work spans emergency medicine, oncology, infectious diseases (including HIV and COVID-19), endocrinology and metabolic disease (including diabetes and bone mineral density research), substance use disorders, and population health. Additionally, I teach biostatistics, clinical research methods, and biomedical data science applications.
