Dr. Scott Fabricant joins the Department of Medicine

Scott Fabricant, MD, PhD

Dr. Scott Fabricant joins the Department of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases as an Assistant Professor as of August 2026.

Dr. Fabricant completed his Infectious Disease training at Boston Medical Center. His clinical and research interests focus on the intersection of infectious diseases and substance use disorders, including serious injection-related infections, hepatitis C, HIV prevention, and evidence-based risk reduction strategies. He also has a strong interest in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of sexually transmitted infections. Dr. Fabricant is passionate about medical education and enjoys working with learners at all stages of training, with a particular focus on curriculum development for medical students.
