Dr. Mariya Khan joins the Department of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Lipid Research as an Instructor as of March 2026.
Dr. Khan was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. She earned her medical degree from Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Karachi. She also completed her internship and started residency in Pakistan, before coming to the United States to further her medical career. She completed her Internal Medicine residency training at Jefferson Abington Hospital in Pennsylvania, followed by subspecialty training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Khan enjoys working with patients to manage Diabetes, Thyroid and other chronic Endocrine conditions, empowering them with education and support to achieve their health goals. Dr. Khan also has a strong interest in undergraduate, and graduate medical education. Dr. Khan prioritizes delivering high quality, personalized care to patients that addresses their unique needs and goals.
