Panel Discussion: The Disproportionate Impact of COVID-19 on Women

11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Zoom

This event will feature a speaker and panel of women, representing various identities, to provide an intersectional look at how the COVID-19 pandemic has had disproportionate impacts on women. From their roles as caregivers to frontline workers, women’s mental health, careers and overall well-being have been negatively impacted in ways we may not fully understand for some time.

We welcome as speaker, Keri Koehler, MSW, the Executive Director of Women’s Foundation of Greater Saint Louis.  Keri began as Executive Director for the Women’s Foundation of Greater St. Louis in August 2020. Koehler has over 12 years of nonprofit experience with extensive leadership background in program development, evaluation, community engagement and partnership building. She spent the last seven years working to advocate for women’s health, including as the Director of Program and Evaluation for Gateway to Hope. In this position, she was responsible for the management, delivery and evaluation of client support services, community engagement and education efforts. Prior to Gateway to Hope, she worked at Washington University in St. Louis in various roles in public health and research and served as senior director of undergraduate admissions. Koehler received her Master of Social Work from Washington University, and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arkansas.
