I am pleased to announce that Jim Robison has joined the Department of Medicine as Senior Director of Business Operations. He has taken over the role Mark Womer previously held and will supervise the finances of the department; approximately $1 billion in revenue and expenses, which include patient services, endowments, grants, clinical trials, and over 780 faculty within 20 Divisions.
Jim obtained his Bachelor of Sciences in Business Administration, with an emphasis on Accounting, from Saint Louis University, and his Master of Business Education from Webster University. He has over ten years of service with Washington University School of Medicine, most recently serving as Director of Business Operations for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, overseeing the financial reporting, budgeting, strategic planning, clinical reporting, and human resource functions for the department. Prior roles include Business Director in Department of Anesthesiology, MyDay Functional Lead, and Sr. Budget Analyst in WUSM Finance.
