 ciplinary Perspectives on the 2026 AHA Guidelines</em></h2><p>The Division 
 of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine is pleased to introduce PERT in Pract
 ice\, a new interdisciplinary educational series focused on the evaluation 
 and management of pulmonary embolism. The Pulmonary Embolism Response Team 
 (PERT) brings together expertise from multiple specialties to provide rapid
  assessment\, risk stratification\, and advanced treatment for patients wit
 h acute pulmonary embolism. With this series\, the division aims to create 
 a forum where clinicians across WashU Medicine can discuss challenging case
 s\, emerging therapies\, and evolving approaches to PE care.</p><p>Each of 
 these web-based conferences will highlight real clinical scenarios and prov
 ide an opportunity for discussion among colleagues from pulmonary and criti
 cal care\, cardiology\, emergency medicine\, vascular medicine\, hematology
 \, radiology\, interventional specialties\, and other disciplines involved 
 in PE care. PERT in Practice is designed to be interactive and collaborativ
 e\, with the goal of strengthening connections across departments while sha
 ring perspectives that improve the care of patients with pulmonary embolism
