 edicine at the University of California San Francisco</p><p>Dr. Mourad’s in
 terests in quality improvement encompass the areas of transitions in care\,
  patient and provider satisfaction\, reducing costs of care and using infor
 matics to improve care delivery. In her role as Vice Chair\, Dr. Mourad is 
 responsible for overseeing performance improvement and clinical strategy in
  all of these areas across the continuum of care. As the Medical Director f
 or Transitions in Care for UCSF Health\, Dr. Mourad leads efforts to improv
 e outcomes and reduce adverse events across transitions through care delive
 ry innovations and community partnerships. In addition to her improvement w
 ork\, Dr. Mourad has published extensively in the areas of quality\, safety
